Course Objectives
Following completion of this activity, you will be able to:
  • Describe the general mechanism of immune checkpoint inhibitors. 

  • Outline the range of symptoms, endoscopic presentation, and time courses of presentation of colitis in patients on immune checkpoint inhibitors. 

  • List the common types of histological changes that can be observed in colonic biopsies from patients being treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors
