identify of the reasons for discrepancy between frozen section diagnosis and final permanent section diagnosis;
discuss the most common ovarian diagnoses with a focus on differential diagnosis at the time of frozen section;
construct the differential diagnosis of ovarian frozen section with a focus on epidemiology, imaging/gross assessment, and microscopic findings; and
differentiate sex cord stromal tumor from endometrioid adenocarcinoma of the ovary with a focus on frozen section assessment.
