recognize the histologic features of metastatic adenocarcinoma to the uterus;
recognize the differential diagnosis of endometrial adenocarcinoma with metastasis versus synchronous tumors;
identify the optimal immunoprofile to differentiate endometrial adenocarcinoma from metastatic mucinous adenocarcinoma of gastrointestinal origin; and
understand the importance of effective communication between the pathologist and the gynecologic surgeon during surgery for appropriate staging and management of gynecologic cancer patients.
