support the diagnosis of transplant-associated thrombotic microangiopathy (TA-TMA) using appropriate signs/symptoms and laboratory results;
critique available therapies based on mechanism of action and determine which may be appropriate in TA-TMA vs. other TMA syndromes;
formulate an appropriate work-up to rule out other TMA syndromes and common post-transplant complications; and
distinguish clinical scenarios of TA-TMA patients that may benefit from therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE).
