• Summarize the proportion of women among pathology leadership positions, including directorships of residency training programs, directorships of fellowship training programs, and positions as department chairs. 

• Compare the representation of women in these pathology leadership positions with the percentage of women in academic pathology, including the percentage of women at each academic rank. 

• Discuss the impact of geographical location and type of leadership position on the proportion of women holding leadership positions.
