DMT125-24 - CME/CMLE - Hematopathology for Surgical Pathologists: Pearls and Pitfalls
Course Description
This is an interactive, case-based education session focusing on common pitfalls in the diagnosis of hematopoietic neoplasms, designed specifically for pathology trainees, surgical pathologists, and general pathologists in community practice. The aim of this session is to help build confidence and prevent misdiagnosis when encountering hematopoietic tumors with emphasis on why and how hematopoietic
immunostains can lead you astray, why over-reliance on flow cytometry results should be avoided, and how to recognize hidden lymphomas.
