DMT128-24 - CME/CMLE - A Simple and Practical Diagnostic Approach to Frozen Sections from the Liver
Course Description
In this education session the following frozen section cases will be presented for discussion (and permanent sections and relevant special stains on each case will also be available during the case discussions). Additional examples of the same entities or other entities in the differential diagnosis on each case any also be discussed:
1. Primary hepatocellular neoplasms (Hepatocellular carcinoma and Hepatic adenoma).
2. Focal nodular hyperplasia.
3. Glandular lesions such as bile duct adenoma, bile duct hamartoma (von Meyenburg complex) and metastatic adenocarcinoma.
4. Donor liver evaluation.
