Course Description
Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer type occurring in women worldwide with rates higher in low resource such as the Caribbean Basin and Latin America. This session provides perspectives of providers of care on the Island of Jamaica on their attempts to reduce the burden of cervical cancer with limited resources. The current role of pathology and laboratory services in facilitating cervical cancer screening on the island will be emphasized during the presentation with recommendations on opportunities to address care through advocacy.

This session offers 1.0 CME/CMLE credit.
