DMT131-24 - CME/CMLE - Cracking the Diagnostic Code for Intrathoracic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms
Course Description
Practical diagnostic challenges will be separated into three main themes: 1) thoracic neuroendocrine tumors (ie, “typical” and “atypical” carcinoid tumors); 2) thoracic neuroendocrine carcinomas (small cell and large cell neuroendocrine carcinomas); 3) mimics of neuroendocrine neoplasms. We will make available digital whole slide images in advance of the education session with pretest questions intended to focus attention on the key topics and learning objectives for each of these three themes. Responses to those questions will be used to design and drive the discussion for each thematic area. For each theme or topic, answers to pre-test questions will be discussed and
