DMT146-25 - CME/CMLE - Bridging the Gap: Enhancing Patient Understanding of Pathology Reports Through AI - www.mypathologyreport.com
Course Description
Learn, discuss, interact. Come join us as we walk through various autopsy findings, discuss morphologic features, differential diagnoses, and mechanisms. While the pathology of the cause of death is a significant question of the autopsy examination, a major aim of this session focuses on how we answer the call by addressing the additional important questions requested by patient families and next of kin. The session will highlight aspects of various organ systems (including cardiovascular pathology), and we will also see how autopsy unites the different areas of anatomic pathology (what happens when autopsy meets surgical pathology and hematopathology). Can you help us review the findings and provide pathologic tumor staging? Can you gross-diagnose these unexpected findings? Using thoughtful and goal-oriented examinations, we will facilitate better knowledge of the disease and create helpful and informative reports. Throughout the session, we will make connections, explore causes, and ultimately help to answer the questions that bring understanding and closure.

This session offers 1.0 CME/CMLE credit.
