DMT157-25 - CME/CMLE - Quality, Innovation, & Trust: Shaping the Next Era of Certification
Course Description
Dr. Procop, in this resident and fellow-focused session, will discuss the features within the American Board of Pathology that ensure the certification examinations are of the highest quality and represent practical, need-to-know material for the practicing pathologist. He will discuss innovative advances undertaken by the Board to help guide learners in their preparation, not only for a certification examination, but for a successful career in Pathology. The continuing certification program is designed to promote the retention of important content, enhance learning, and introduce new specialty-relevant material, again, in an effort to promote optimal patient care and success in the practice of Pathology. The Board meets regularly with a wide variety of stakeholders to provide updates and seek feedback and recommendations for optimizing our processes. The Trustees and Staff of the American Board of Pathology are consistently working toward these ends and look forward to your participation in this session.
