Course Description

This CME/CMLE credit-bearing virtual workshop, a 60-minute live webinar with on-demand recording, was developed by and specifically for Pathologists and Laboratory Professionals in their role of educating others, by providing practical tips and useful information that you can immediately apply to take your presentations and teaching to the next level.    

These workshops have been developed for all experience levels, with a focus on actionable tools and strategies that you can easily integrate into your teaching.  Two experts will walk you through best practices in leveling up your educator skill set by reframing assessment as a tool for interactive learner engagement.   

Join us for an engaging workshop that dives into the art of assessment. Assessment is not only a way to measure whether specific learning goals have been met, but also a means to engage with learners.  An understanding of the role of assessment in learning is essential for exceptional outcomes.  In this workshop, attendees will dive deeper into the role of assessment in education.  We’ll discuss points of assessment and novel approaches to engage with learners.  Attendees will also learn about interactive tools to enhance their learner’s educational experience.  With this knowledge and these tools, you’ll be able to journey beyond the course and assess your learners to the top of the laboratory.
