This CME/CMLE credit-bearing virtual workshop, a 60-minute live webinar with on-demand recording, was developed by and specifically for Pathologists and Laboratory Professionals in their role of educating others, by providing practical tips and useful information that you can immediately apply to take your presentations and teaching to the next level.
These workshops have been developed for all experience levels, with a focus on actionable tools and strategies that you can easily integrate into your teaching. Two experts will walk you through best practices in leveling up your educator skill set by bringing empathy in the teaching space to foster stronger communication and learning.
“Exploring Paths to Empathy in the Educational Space” is a guided, group exploration into how we can (and currently do) bring empathy into our teaching and learning experiences. We will visit different aspects of empathy in action in the teaching space, including reflecting on feedback and modeling empathy. Everyone has their own unique brand of empathy that they bring to the table, and this workshop helps to highlight this and show how it can be incorporated into authentic teaching experiences.
The activity offers 1.0 CME/CMLE credit.
