Building Bridges Across the Laboratory Community: Professional Identity
ASCP is proud to continue the Building Bridges Across the Laboratory Community webinar series. This virtual laboratory capacity building series explores practical strategies for strengthening connections with diverse laboratory stakeholders through effective communication.
This second session, Professional Identity, will examine the importance of clearly communicating medical and public health laboratory professional identity and its impact on community-wide understanding of laboratory medicine and pathology. Panelists representing cytology, histotechnology, and medical laboratory science disciplines will share their unique perspectives and communication strategies, illustrating how professional identity is shaped within their own discipline as well as across the professional spectrum, and why articulating these roles is essential for advancing the laboratory profession as a whole.
