Course Objectives
Following completion of this activity, you will be able to:
  • Describe some biomarkers commonly used to identify colorectal cancer; 

  • Identify pre-analytic variables and potential interferences that may affect interpretation of biomarkers test results for colorectal cancer; 

  • Understand how to integrate molecular and biomarker findings into the pathology report; 

  • Discuss common challenges to diagnosis of CRC, as described by patients.
