Course Description

This session offers an in-depth examination of leadership as a strategic and psychological force within the clinical laboratory environment. Grounded in organizational theory and evidence-based practice, the course underscores how laboratory leadership is pivotal to sustaining regulatory compliance, diagnostic quality, team cohesion, and workforce resilience. Participants will analyze core leadership competencies while exploring theoretical constructs such as transformational leadership, and emotional intelligence. Through this multidisciplinary lens, the course illuminates how leadership behaviors drive innovation, enhance operational excellence, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and staff engagement.
