Course Description

Antimicrobial resistance, especially multi-drug resistance, is a constant issue regarding treatment of bacterial infections. Expansion of resistance can only be understood by reviewing not only clinical antibiotic use, but also the impact of environmental exposure of antimicrobial bacteria has on human colonization. This education session will address these gaps and more.
