LPR103-25 - CME/CMLE - Handling Those Tricky Specimens: What's a Tech to Do?
Course Description
Hematology is not always Black and White. Even experienced technologists can be stumped by those tricky samples. Staffing shortages and lack of consistency in training may also lead to techs working the bench without backround and tools necessary for troubleshooting those difficult specimens. This presentation will help techs in making decisons as to when and how to report results or cancel specimens. Case studies and steps for investigating deltas and problematic specimens will be reviewed.

This session offers 1.0 CME/CMLE credit.
