With the growing concern of early retirement and vacancy rates for Laboratory Professionals, this workshop will focus both on identifying the issues and discussing solutions to resolve recruiting, and retaining professional laboratory staff.
An interactive workshop led by the ASCP Chicago Chapter Board members. Utilizing the 2022 ASCP Vacancy Survey as a benchmark for discussion, attendees will participate in 2-10 minute break out sessions for to discuss what's worked well and what hasn't worked well with regards to recruiting and retaining at their organizations as well as interview do's and don't via roll play. At the conclusion of the sessions, participants will share and summarize findings and will be provided with a session summary of the discussion to take back to their organizations.
