Course Objectives
Following completion of this activity, you will be able to:
  • describe the stages of B-cell development;  

  • enumerate surface markers commonly used for B-cell phenotyping; 

  • explain the utility of B-cell phenotyping in the clinical workup for immunodeficiency; and 

  • describe how B-cell phenotyping is useful for monitoring patients receiving B cell–depleting therapies.
