Course Objectives
Following completion of this activity, you will be able to:
  • identify some specific ways that digital polymerase chain reaction (dPCR) is currently being applied to liquid biopsies in clinical testing;  

  • describe tumor heterogeneity and how it relates to liquid biopsies;  

  • compare the methods used to partition samples in dPCR; 

  • analyze and interpret a dPCR scatterplot; and  

  • assess the best applications of next-generation sequencing vs PCR in liquid biopsy analysis.
