Course Objectives
Following completion of this activity, you will be able to:
  • describe the morphologic characteristics of T-prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL) cells in peripheral blood smear; 

  • list the systemic symptoms and laboratory results associated with T-PLL; 

  • know the immunophenotypic, cytogenetic, and molecular characteristics of T-PLL; 

  • understand the diagnostic criteria of T-PLL; and 

  • discuss the prognosis of T-PLL.
