Course Objectives
Following completion of this activity, you will be able to:
  • identify syndromes associated with higher risk for developing Wilms tumor; 

  • explain the role of molecular testing in the management of nephroblastoma and preserving frozen tissue for appropriate molecular tests; 

  • discuss the gross and microscopic features relevant for diagnosis and management of Wilms tumor; 

  • gross and document nephroblastoma specimens appropriately; and 

  • submit appropriate and adequate tissue for proper diagnosis and risk stratification.
