Course Description
This lecture will review the histologic features of steatohepatitis, the elements of the current grading and staging systems, overlap with autoimmune hepatitis, and the differential diagnostic considerations, including drug induced steatohepatitis.  There will also be an update on the current nomenclature used by hepatologists, a brief overview of drug trials for steatohepatitis, and a discussion of alcohol related versus non-alcohol related steatotic liver disease.
