Course Description

Laboratory personnel have many strengths, one of them being a strong instinct when it comes to possible issues and sources of error in testing. Will the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in patient care impact how diagnosis is determined? This session will explore laboratory issues and problem solving using possible AI versus "gut feeling" approaches. Advantages and disadvantages of both techniques will be discussed.
