Pathology education covers a wide range of topics that are traditionally taught using a variety of modalities. Regardless of topic and approach, much of this education can be delivered effectively using an online format. There are numerous advantages to transitioning to online delivery, such as: increasing access to content, ability to provide real-time updates, greater cohesion of activities, and ease of distribution. Modern tools, free and paid, make digitizing education easier than ever; however, barriers to adoption include lack of familiarity with those tools and limited time to learn how to use them effectively. This session will discuss advantages and disadvantages of using a website as the main foundation for pathology education content delivery, explore tools and resources that are readily available for anyone to use, and provide an interactive demonstration of how simple creating a polished and useful website can be. Attendees are encouraged to come with ideas about what they specifically may need a website for, which can be incorporated into the interactive demonstration.
