This Rapid Review Series education session will cover Microbiology. The faculty will review 10
to 20 cases with clinical vignette type questions on the topic, covering high-yield information and diagnostic “pearls.” Attendees will be active learners, answering the multiple-choice questions for each case. They will be able to gauge their knowledge compared to their peers and to identify areas where they need additional education. Both core knowledge as well as new developments in Microbiology will be included in the discussion about each case. The faculty will modify their discussion of each case to match the audience members’ understanding of the correct answers for each case.
