Virtual Microscopy!
Exclusive to the Resident Question Bank is the Whole Slide Image or Virtual Microscopy course. Each question in this course features at least one Whole Slide Image via the ASCPedia™.  The Virtual Slide will open in a separate tab once the link in the question is clicked. The question may also contain static images.

Simulation Examinations!
Exclusive to the Resident Question Bank are two simulations which are 2 hour timed exams consisting of 125 questions each which reflect the published content areas. 

You will find these exams by looking for AP Simulation Examination and CP Simulation Examination courses.

The Question Bank consists of 6 courses. It is subdivided for ease of use by specialty.

All static image questions are contained in the AP/CP Practice Questions course. The AP Practice Questions, AP Simulation Examination, CP Practice Questions, and CP Simulation Exam courses are all subdivisions of the questions in AP/CP Practice Questions.

The Virtual Microscopy questions are found only in the Whole Slide Images (Virtual Microscopy) course.

Practice Question courses are configurable.  The number of questions, content areas, any time limitations and Study mode versus Exam mode are controlled by you.  You may create virtually unlimited versions of the Practice courses.

The two Simulation Examinations, AP Simulation Examination and CP Simulation Examination are not configurable.  The system randomly selects the questions based on the content area weights embedded in the simulation each time a new simulation is started.
